Training hours:
For students of category A, the first and the second term will last for 19 weeks respectively, there are 20 teaching hours of lectures per week, the third and the fourth term will last for 19 weeks respectively, and there are 18-20 teaching hours of lectures per week.
For students of category B, by passing the credit-identified test, they can be exempted from the first semester and obtain the corresponding credits. The second term will last for 19 weeks and there are 20 teaching hours of lectures per week, the third and the fourth term will last for 19 weeks respectively, and there are 18-20 teaching hours of lectures per week.
Training schedule:
Performance assessment: written and oral examinations for each term
Practical linguistic activity: 1-2 times per term
Specialist internship: internship activity and report in the fourth term
Certificates:
After the students acquire the required 80 credit points, they are available to obtain the corresponding Chinese Specialized Diploma.

Specialized Chinese curriculum:

After one-year elementary Chinese training and one-year specialized Chinese training, students are supposed to master 4500-5000 vocabulary, including about 1000 specialized Chinese words and the corresponding Chinese characters. Students can also expect to know about 250 grammar points and possess the listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation skills for specialized Chinese, which will benefit for their daily life and future careers.
